Position Title  Production Engineer
Department / Location  Operations - Technical Support (Balhaf)
Minimum Requirements  Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: - 2 to 3 years in oil and gas processing industry, with practical knowledge and operational experience - 1 to 2 years in gas or LNG plant design, studies and trouble shooting. Job Specific Skills: - Sound technical knowledge of overall LNG production activities. - Use of process and pipeline simulation tools - Working knowledge of computer applications and methods. - Good written and spoken English with good general communication skills
Descriptions  • To prepare the 90-day and yearly production plans (Feed Gas, loaded and in-tank LNG) under the instructions of Head of Production Support for approval by TS Manager. • To be responsible of Plant main data reporting preparation for Shareholders and Authorities. In particular, perform consolidation and assessment of these data. • To take leadership and guidance in plant performance tests, procedures and proposals to improve safety, efficiency and reduce shortfalls. • To lead the relationship between Production Support & Production Department (action plan, troubleshooting, advices…) • To coordinate all actions impacting metering. To decide updates and revisions in this domain according to new standards or lessons learnt. To instruct Production for implementation. To analyze any deviation and to report to management on a daily basis the key measures and result of his analysis. • To take leadership and be custodian of methodologies to determine gas quantities, especially supporting the Feed Gas delivery, the plant performance and LNG production and loading. • To lead the Production Support Metering action plan. • To liaise with the upstream operator (National Company) for the follow-up of upstream facilities performance and optimization of pipeline operation and resolution of any interface problems. • To act as process focal point identifying potential applications of new technology, and refers any potential obsolescence issues for further study. • To participate in safety and plant integrity audits on the plant. • To give regular input in Management of Change process (screening of MP, writing of SOR or SOW).
